Heather Engler, Esq. is the founder and principal of Capital Advisors, a boutique bookkeeping, tax filing, and financial advisory firm serving small and mid-sized businesses with tailored financial services. She leads a multidisciplinary team of bookkeeping professionals, accountants, payroll specialists, compliance experts, and nonprofit advisors, bringing personalized, high-touch financial support to business owners so they can focus on growth and operations with confidence.
Heather’s professional background blends legal training with deep expertise in bookkeeping and tax compliance, giving her a unique perspective on financial strategy, risk management, and business operations. Under her leadership, Capital Advisors has grown into a trusted partner for hundreds of clients, offering services that extend beyond routine bookkeeping to include tax filing support, interim outsourced CFO services, and financial guidance tailored to each client’s goals.

Scott Engler is a seasoned corporate advisor, strategist, and executive leader with extensive experience helping organizations grow, strengthen leadership, and enhance performance. He has spent over two decades advising senior executives — including CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs — on strategic planning, talent management, financial and organizational performance, and board-level governance.
He has held senior leadership roles at major advisory and research organizations, including serving as a senior member of the Advisory Leadership Group at CEB (the Corporate Executive Board), where he worked across strategy, finance, and human resources practices. In that capacity, he led research and advisory services for hundreds of executives, co-authored industry reports, and facilitated leadership development programs for senior leaders.
Scott also hosted The Talent Angle, a podcast focused on contemporary talent and leadership issues, and regularly spoke at industry events. His work spans strategic consulting, product development for advisory services, and executive training, with a focus on C-suite and board advisory work that helps companies scale and navigate complex growth and governance challenges.

She specializes in full-cycle bookkeeping — including payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting — and is highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online. Known for her organization, efficiency, and attention to detail, she brings a well-rounded background across industries and is committed to keeping businesses financially accurate, compliant, and running smoothly.

Kristine Taroyan, CPA, is a driven accounting professional with extensive experience supporting businesses across a wide range of industries. She manages over 50 clients, providing full-service accounting including payroll, tax filings, reconciliations, financial statements, and business consulting. With a background in public accounting, audits, and financial management, she brings both technical expertise and strategic insight — helping businesses stay compliant, organized, and positioned for growth.
